As you may know, the State of Maine has embarked an initiative giving laptop
computers to all 7th grade public school students and their teachers. My
colleagues and I are looking for resources to use with these teachers and
students to teach them about the importance of accessible web design and the
most basic way to accomplish this. I found the video on the Webaim site:
"Keeping Web Accessibility In Mind" http://www.webaim.org/info/asdvideo/
but it appears to focuses on higher ed population.
I'm wondering if anyone knows of other videos or simulation-based resources
in addition to perhaps materials were written in "kid language" that we
might use. Sounds like a job for the kids on ZOOM!
Many thanks...
