Just a quick thank you to everyone, who responded to my question about
accessible ebooks. We've got a decent collection of references
<https://delicious.com/rmitaccessibility/ebooks> [1] to draw on.

And in case you've missed the news, Amazon has recently released a new
Kindle Textbook Creator <https://kdp.amazon.com/edu> [2] targeting
educational providers. Here's one of the reviews: Amazon's New Kindle
Textbook Creator Takes A Different Approach From iBooks Author

I quickly scanned their Frequently Asked Questions
<https://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?docId02998671> [4] and Publishing
Guidelines (PDF)
<http://kindlegen.s3.amazonaws.com/AmazonKindlePublishingGuidelines.pdf>; [5]
looking for information on accessibility, but without any luck. If you
agree that accessibility belongs in Kindle's FAQs and publishing
guidelines, there is one way to put it in there...

:-)

cheers
