Hello to All,
I'm writing to clarify the accessibility requirements for student media.
Our organization is moving to the Canvas LMS. Canvas has native media tools, which will no doubt lead to many more assignments involving student videos, video-based discussions where students must review other students' videos, and more faculty lectures, instructions, and responses to students via video.
I can see a need for alternative assignments and further faculty training and resources to encourage them to caption their own videos... but I'm not clear on the legal requirements here.
Would appreciate any guidance that you can offer!
Suggestions, please?
