Hi all, I'm looking for some feedback on image carousels.
I've been reading up on some of the different accessible carousel approaches out there and I understand the nuts and bolts of implementing a fully accessible version. However I'm struggling with the concept of even presenting the carousel to AT users in the first place. It just seems like such a tedious and clunky interface to present to an AT user.
I'm wondering what your thoughts are in terms of hiding the entire carousel using ARIA if all of the material is presented on the same page anyway right after the carousel? Essentially it is being used as a sort of latest news banner.
