Web Accessibility in Europe and Beyond

Hello All,

I'm doing some research on the current requirements for web
accessibility in the following countries respectively - Germany, Japan,
Spain, France and Netherlands.

Can you assist? Do any of these jurisdictions set out standards of
accessibility for websites, how enforcable are they and to whom do they
apply? Has any legislation been passed or is any in the pipeline?

I will summarise any responses and post them on this discussion group.
