Why would you want to do this? Increased bandwidth, inability to
"bookmark", inability to note change and take action... I cannot think of
one good reason why you would want to do this. Why on earth would you want
to wait for a blank page to load, so that the meta refresh would then kick
in to instantly take you to another page... As you said, server side
re-direct is the preferred method.
