Re: Accessible platform for distributing audio files

I've found the player in the Google Drive to be accessible on Chrome and
Firefox using JAWS.

The problem I run into is using the Backup and Sync app that Google Drive
uses. I'm really struggling with it's UI. Sometimes it doesn't come into
focus, and when it does, it doesn't seem to be announcing all of the menu
items.

Would appreciate any thoughts and/or empathy,
David

With NVDA on Firefox, google drive is passable. You have to know when you
hear "table", that the table is interactive and you can use the arrow keys
to move up/down through the table.

Also, the entire row's data is read rather than letting me navigate through
each cell (filename, owner, date modified, etc). If I know the name of the
file I'm looking for, then at least the name is first so I can ignore the
rest of the information.

I'm able to play a video via google drive and it works fine. I can get to
play/pause, volume, seek, fullscreen, captions. I suspect playing an audio
should be similar.

Plus, if all the files are posted on google drive (or some file sharing
website), I have the option to download it and play the file on whatever
player I want.
