Polymer JS for accessible web pages

Hi Folks,

I have observed that many of the new web pages which are being developed
keeping accessibility in mind are being developed with Polymer JS.

What I am not sure is that is it a mere coincidence owing to Polymer's
popularity or is the library having some good features for accessible
designs.

Please provide me some knowledge over this and good reads, if any.
