Breadcrumbs Question

Hello!

What's the best way to handle long breadcrumbs that incorporate

- The content page primarily contains tabbed content;
- Non-linkable navigation categories (these have submenu items but the
category itself is not a page

1) Should the active tab name be included in the breadcrumb (non-linked)?
(an example:
https://cdn2.hubspot.net/hubfs/53/Imported_Blog_Media/wordpress-tabs-2.jpg)

2) NNG recommends that the non-linkable navigation category be
excluded from the breadcrumb; this seems good from an accessibility
standpoint. Does anyone disagree? (an example:
https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/comparative-media-studies-writing/21w-732-5-introduction-to-technical-communication-explorations-in-scientific-and-technical-writing-fall-2006/readings/
- Notice that the active-styled "Find Courses" is a category, and within it
you go to Courses then further in to get to this page. )

Thanks in advance!
