We have a similar approach where students requiring extra accommodations are able to take tests in a separate proctoring center.

The platforms we use to provide testing, whether for student work or employee training, have test setup options to give an extended time to an individual students. In cases where we couldn't do that, we make a copy of the exam and set it up with the extended time for the individuals who need receive that accommodation.
