Every now and then I come back to the same question: Does anyone know of/have actual experience with a PDF accessibility testing tool that can check multiple documents in a single batch?
I'm looking for software (1) that can be run locally rather than at a hosted site, (2) is inexpensive or free, and (3) is capable of checking all or almost all PDF/UA requirements.
Github has various tools and attempts at tools, but there always seems to be something that makes them inappropriate or inadequate.
Of course there are excellent but expensive commercial alternatives, such as CommonLook products, but we're looking for something less costly.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Alan
