Hi Claire,

I tested this just now, and I am seeing the same thing. This has definitely changed since last week.

And with NVDA I was able to read an image's Alt Text, and select a decorative image for editing.

Regards,

George

Subject: [WebAIM] Images in line with text

Good afternoon,
Section508.gov instructs to set images/graphics/text boxes as in line with text so screen readers read content in the proper reading order; however, a Word file currently in review this is no longer flagging images with text wrapping as an error within the built-in Accessibility checker. Does anyone know why or if the standard has changed?

I know the built-in accessibility checks aren't the end-all, be-all for testing, but they are a great resource for our instructional designers to use.

Thank you,
Claire Forbes
