I hope that the Trusted Tester program has been terminated because it mandates a terrible testing methodology that is almost guaranteed to give incorrect results. I say "almost guaranteed" because I can't rule out the possibility that it might occasionally give accurate results by pure chance.
I would support training that teaches a more accurate methodology, but such a course would be much longer, more difficult and more expensive. However, that's the cost of doing the job properly.
