TOUCH SCREEN SIGNATURES WITH THE CANVAS ELEMENT

HELLO All,

A developer asked me a few days ago about the accessibility of using the
canvas element for obtaining signatures on touch screens. I told him that
canvas was generally hostile to accessibility , but his assignment might be
doable.

I suggested he talk to a real accessibility consultant, not me.

Anyway, he got me curious about the topic. I am presuming that any solution
would begin with proper labeling of the canvas element.
