Thanks Jared and team for running this show for us.
I started bugging people on here around 15 years ago as an aspiring
unemployed software engineer looking for a career change. Thanks in large
part to this list and the awesome people on here I learned enough to get
into the digital accessibility business.
It is, as I usually say in my presentations "the best job I wish I never
had", because in the perfect world accessibility wouldn't be the
responsibility of a relatively small community of experts, it'd be built
into everything. Still, we've come a long way towards that goal in the last
decade though there's still a much longer way to go.
