Good afternoon Estelle,
I am currently working on the training for web accessibility at Eastern
Kentucky University. I ran across an extremely helpful Resource planner
from WebAIM. It is geared for K-12, but I found all of the material
just as relevant for post secondary institutions.
It is an excellent resource and it may redirect him to more relevant
sites pertaining directly to his situation/needs.
Also, if anyone else is interested in training for Web Accessibility I
highly recommend setting up a course with W.A.R.P.
The layout is already assembled you just have to choose your modules and
resources most relevant to your training needs.
URL for W.A.R.P.

Hi-
I am looking for sites about accessibility and/or that are accessible
that
target young teens. I know of a youth that has recently lost the
majority
of his eyesight. Please share with me any websites you have worked on or
know of that might be interesting to this age bracket.
If there is interest, I will compile the list and post a resource page
online.
Thanks
Estelle Weyl
