Last spring, I was frustrated with the situation that most web authors
know next to nothing about web accessibility and are faced with complex,
poorly accessible explanations of how to get started with _some_
accessibily issues. I got the idea of writing a book along such lines but
the idea was rejected by three publishers, basically (I think) because
there's simply not much demand for any books on accessibility.
So I decided to convert the initial chapter of the book to a tutorial on
the web:
"Getting Started with Practical Web Accessibility"
http://www.cs.tut.fi/~jkorpela/acc/
It's not very web-like since it was originally meant to be part of a book,
but it's probably still more accessible than most guides on accessibility.
And I'm afraid I won't be able to work much on it, but I'll try to fix any
easily fixable errors.
