Hi - sorry to cross post, but I thought this might be a nice way to
encourage folk to give us both feedback:

I'll be reading it now, and let you know what I think.
In principle I'm very much with you. The irony is pronounced, is it not, in
the fact that accessibility has become so inaccessible to those wishing to
learn a little to help a lot.
While I agree with the concensus in here, that standards are a way forward,
they've become so converluted that I don't know a programmer outside 'the
field' who pays the blindest (no pun intended) bit of attention to them.
Sad, but a practical reality. And then we go a say things like "just because
it's standards compliant doesn't mean its accessible" (which is true). Its a
wonder anyone tries at all.
Anway - must be blue Moday getting to me...
Here's to practical tips and solutions!
