I am checking into the service known as JoVe (Journal of Visualized Experiments) for use of the media in online courses. My issue is that the "transcript" available with the videos do not appear to be text alternative documents as I would expect a transcript to be. These "transcript[s]" seem to be parameters of the visual experiment being conducted and recorded. I do not want to suggest anything to be used by our faculty if it can create a hindrance for our students and not meet accessibility best practices.

My question is, is anyone familiar with JoVe and similar sites? If so, do you have any feedback you are willing to share?

Thank you.
