Hello all,
Someone known to me is looking for a platform similar to edX that offers
online self paced training about digital accessibility. Platform should
have features for their colleagues to enrol for course and then their
central accessibility team should be able to track who has enrolled and who
has completed. It's OK even if there is no self enrollment but team can
assign training. Looks like edX has changed their sales model and it has
become unaffordable hence looking for alternatives.

Thanks in advance,
Srinivasu

Srinivasu,

I've found that the Deque University is good though somewhat expensive per user per year.

When our college signed up for Siteimprove we also had their academy with 50 seats. As one of the admins of that I could add users then go in and see what modules had been completed. They've changed that and I no longer see that information, went from one LMS to another. Their content wasn't anywhere as thorough as what Deque offers.

Hi Srinivasu,

WebAIM offers an online, video-based document accessibility course<https://webaim.org/training/docs/>. The course is delivered through the Canvas learning management system. Participants have 24/7 tier 1 support via phone and chat from the vendor (Instructure).

We specialize in training large groups (in 2023 we had over 2,000 enrollments). For group training<https://webaim.org/training/docs/#groupTraining> we offer:

* Custom registration pages<https://webaim.org/training/online/sample/course/registration> for self-enrollments.
* Private cohorts for groups of 20 or more.
* A member of the organization's training team can be assigned as a Teaching Assistant to monitor progress.
*
Online reporting on participant outcomes.
*
Certificate of Completion for participants that meet the assessment requirements.

We also have a scholarship program<https://webaim.org/training/docs/scholarship>. Any person with a disability can enroll in the course for free.

Please feel free to contact us at = EMAIL ADDRESS REMOVED = <mailto: = EMAIL ADDRESS REMOVED = > with any questions. We'd be happy to provide you with a complimentary enrollment to review the course.*

Regards,

George
