Hello all,
I like to use an online white board for my training but am yet to find anything even close to accessible. Even keyboard compliance for navigation seems to be beyond them. So far I've looked at Jamboard, Mural, NoteBoardApp, Miro, awwapp.com <http://awwapp.com/> with no luck at all.
Any help or alternative suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Kind regards, Ady

Hello Ady,
What are you trying to do with the whiteboard?
For quick brainstorms, I use Google Sheets, for document writing and
note-taking, I use Google Docs. For coding, I use:

I am on a team using Miro. They say that they are working on accessibility for their next release. I'd recommend getting in touch with them -- if nothing else it's good for them to know that there are consumers pushing for this.

Lisa
Do you have a contact for Miro? As I would love to see the beta version of this product for accessibility. As the last time I used Miro. It was fully in-a11y to a screen reader user.

HI Lisa,
I am working with a company that uses Miro and there are multiple screen reader users on staff and it is still 90%+ inaccessible to them. I know for sure the visual content on the different bords are completely inaccessible to those users.

Yes, this is absolutely right. It is not at all accessible.
My point is that they are saying that they are working on accessibility for an upcoming rollout. I think we should keep the friendly pressure on them to make sure that they really elevate this to a high priority and make it happen.

Hi,
yes, also in this company we have several screen reader users I am aware of and working with Miro is almost totally impossible, I can tell that from my own experience.
How can we put "friendly pressure" on them? What's the best way to reach out? I tried to get in touch by their contact form, no response so far...
Would be great if we could show them that there are many users in need.
Thanks!
