Hi Team,

Please help with on the following query:

keyboard focus is going to the parent page control when Dialog/ Side panel opened on the page. which success criteria it fails?

Adding one more point to it:
This issue is reproducible both in forward and backward directions using Tab and Shift + Tab. And dialog has cancel and ok buttons on it.

Does the dialog automatically open when you tab to an element?
Then you can fail it under WCAG 3.2.1 - on focus (it doesn't mention a
modal directly as a change of context, but it definitely is a massive
change of context).
If you need to activate a control to display the dialog, then you could
fail it under 2.4.3 - focus order (when you activate a modal dialog focus
must go directly to that dialog).
Alternatively under 1.3.2 - content order, a screen reader user has to be
made aware that new content is visible, either by having the content
display immdiately after the control or by moving focus to t.
These are just some ideas without having seen the actual experience.
