Subject: Question about Prompts that require drawing
No previous message | Next message →
I'm reaching to see if anyone has had experience working with mathematic
educational materials that require prompts for drawing, for example
requesting a student drawing a right angle for a home work assignment. What
kinds of accommodations are made in this kind of situation?
Thanks,
Ilana

Hello Ilana,
I wrote a blog post detailing a list of physical and digital drawing tools
at:
https://xrnavigation.io/list-of-non-visual-drawing-tools/
Students can use one of these tools to create their spatial diagrams.
If you have a digital product that facilitates drawing, they should use a
tool like Audiom <http://xrnavigation.io> from XR Navigation to create an
accessible drawing and diagram viewing experience (Note I am the CEO of XR
Navigation). Audio can be inserted into any app or website to allow blind
or keyboard only users to draw and view diagrams through interactive
alt-text that is WCAG compliant <https://xrnavigation.io/acr>.
Thank you,
