Hi,

I'm interested in preparing a Tagalog(Filipino) translation of the
following resources:
http://webaim.org/intro/
http://webaim.org/standards/508/checklist

Hopefully this would widen the range of people aware of what web
accessibility it.

I'm not sure if there is someone responsible for approving such
translations at WebAIM so I'm submitting my request here.

Are there any special requirements I should keep in mind when working on
the translation?

Any feedback will be appreciated!

I would second this request. I know there is a very good accessibility
group in the Philippines (*http://www.pwag.org* <http://www.pwag.org/>;).
They are very involved in helping the government web sites to be more
accessible.

We would be happy to have any of our articles translated. We simply ask that:

- The translation be high quality and not automated. Translation
quality is verified.
- A link be provided to the original article on our site.
- That "Copyright 2013 - WebAIM" be presented at the top or bottom of
the translation.
- That links remain in-tact (they are not re-written or hijacked).
- That styles, images, and other media be copied to and provided on
your own site rather than hot-linked from our site. This ensures that
they will work even if the originals change. In the case of movies,
etc., you can link to our site.
- That you send me the URL of the translations when they are completed
so I can link to them from the original.

Thanks,

Jared Smith
