RE: Browser font sizes

Hi,

I am unaware of any scientifically gathered stats on this user behaviour,
but from observations others and I have made here in our environment it
appears most people are unaware of the feature.

However, I think allowing users to select their own font size is a valuable
feature that would benefit a great many people. I think there is a problem
with the design of the feature, not the feature itself. Actually, I wonder
if a better solution is for a site to implement font sizing...doing
something like WebAIM does.

Thanks,
Tim

I talk to web designers often that do not know or did not notice their
font sizes are adjustable and have to tell them where to look. This is
usually after they load up a page with relative font sizes and find they
are extremely different between browsers. Then I tell them to check the
sizing.

I try to keep mine at average size on all browsers to check.

My thoughts would be the general public does not have much clue about
this and most will not adjust.
