Dear friend/colleague,

We are writing to announce that as the Firefox add-on developed here at Lighthouse International that makes browsing easier for those with low vision, LowBrowse has been released. We're still making fixes to small bugs and improving documentation, but it's quite functional in its present form.

LowBrowse can be obtained in several places: http://lowbrowse.org <https://webmail.lighthouse.org/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://lowbrowse.org>; takes you to the Lighthouse International site where you can read about the program. There is a link there to the technical page at http://lowbrowse.lighthouse.org <https://webmail.lighthouse.org/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://lowbrowse.lighthouse.org>; , where you can also download the program, get additional information, and get instructions on creating a large cursor, which is particularly useful to have with LowBrowse.

We've also submitted the add-on to the to the Mozilla Addons site http://addons.mozilla.org <https://webmail.lighthouse.org/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://addons.mozilla.org>; , where you can download it and try it out, IF you first create an account on the addons site (it is very easy to register). We would be very interested in your comments, and those of your colleagues, patients, and/or clients. On the Mozilla addons site the software can be downloaded only by those with an account UNTIL it has been reviewed by a sufficient number of people. Therefore, we would greatly appreciate it if you'd give it a rating, and if possible, a short narrative review.

Best regards,
