I wasn't going to mention my Safari problem, sine I eventually go to
the page through Firefox, but when I saw your message, I dug a bit
deeper.

Are you running Voiceover in conjunction with Safari? Does it work
with other browsers as well? If the browser can't parse the code, then
it makes sense you would get nothing, which is exactly what I see on
screen... blank, white nothingness.
