Update: MLB alerts and a question

for

Hi guys. I wanted to give an update on my issue with wanting MLB
alerts a few months back. I still was not able to access mlb.com to
log in, but someone from this list forwarded my message to Lainey and
she's been contacting me. So whoever that was, thank you. I want to
sign up for Gameday audio there but still can't set up an account. On
a good note though, I just purchased a Windows Smartphone and added
Mobilespeak. I was able to sign up for text alerts at ESPN.com with no
needed assistance. I was so impressed with how accessible this was,
that I sent them a feedback message and received a personal reply
within an hour. Wow. Now I never go without knowing what is going on
with my 2 teams. Sweet.

One question did arise in my doing this on ESPN.com. When I was adding
a team to my alerts, at the very end the computer said, "submit
image". Usually if submit is an icon, the computer will say something
like, "submit image, link". I didn't hear a link before or after so I
clicked the submit image and it worked. So I guess my question is, why
didn't I hear "link"? This isn't a big deal, but could be confusing
for screenreader users. A few months ago, I might not have clicked
something that said "submit image" if I did not hear a link. I'm just
curious, thats all.

Thanks for all your help with the previous need of finding an email
list for team updates. I am very happy with my text alerts, and with
how easy it was to sign up for them.
