Dear John and others on the list,

Perhaps "model of corporate responsibility" was excessive.
PDF is better. I no longer feel sick to my stomach every
time is see the file extension.

I cannot fix everything, but I think this issue is within
reach. Are you and others on the WebAIM list interested in
addressing well defined issue with me.

When I was a leader the Accessible Technology Initiative at
the CSU System, I found we were able to make some inroads
with corporations. Apple and Oracle took some very
convincing positive steps to improve accessibility for our
students. They aren't perfect, but neither am I.

What do you say. This problem can be fixed.

I think a PDF to Daisy translator is possible now. From
there we can do anything. I may be wrong, but I cannot see
how you can go from PDF to speech without being able to go
from PDF to Daisy. Lots of us can program. Maybe Adobe
will work with us.

My email is <EMAIL REMOVED> and I will coordinate this effort
even if I'm the only one to coordinate.

Sincerely, Wayne Dick
