NOTE: I am not a daily JAWS user!
However it is my understanding that navigating headings in JAWS allows you
to focus in on a heading level by pressing H the required number of times
- for example to get to level 2 headings press H twice, level 3 headings
press 3 times, etc. Once you get to that level you can press the
associated number key to browse through all headings at that level.
As well, the Headings dialog box can sort a pages headings either
alphabetically or in tab order; I am not sure if it can sort by heading
level however.
