Good afternoon,
A recent CS Squirrel comic is humorous, and is also a great example of providing a long description for a complex image.
The author provides a link to a transcript of the comic, which is associated with the image using the aria-describedby attribute. The author also uses the longdesc attribute to point to the URL with the transcript.
Even funnier is that if you are sighted you'll notice that the comic image doesn't even show up on the screen, which is irony. Someone had to point this out to me.
