Hi all,

Apologies for cross posting.

My name is Nuzhah and I am a PhD student with the Information Retrieval
Group at Queen Mary University of London.

As part of my PhD, I am currently carrying out a research study to
investigate how visually impaired users carry out information seeking
tasks on the Web via web-based search systems, for example, Google,
Yahoo, Bing etc. I am particularly interested in the challenges they
face while using search interfaces with the help of assistive technology
such as screen readers.

I am currently looking for people to participate in this study where we
will observe how you complete information seeking tasks online. For
people outside the UK, there is the possibility of participating via Skype.

If you would like to take part for an hour or so, please get in touch
and let me know when you would be able to participate. If you do take
part, we may video record what is on the computer screen as you use it.
We will not be videoing yourself and all records will of course be
stored in anonymised form.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Regards

Nuzhah Gooda Sahib
