Thoughts about online video & autoplay

As a rule, autoplay is considered bad form for audio/video on websites. If
a site does have autoplay implemented, the responsible thing for site owners
to do is enable users to mute or turn off as one of their first options
regardless of how the user interacts with the site.

I'd be curious to hear this groups feedback about television broadcasters
and more specifically how their video offerings translate to the web with
accessibilty in mind.

Thanks!
