I looked on the Internet and found a reference to JAWS announcing tutor
messages in Office 2007 for Ribbons. Maybe check your access key and tutor
message settings?

If you need a global reference, there is an Excel 2007 workbook with all the
Ribbon, Sub-Ribbon and Non-Ribbon commands for Office 2007 at
http://www.karlencommunications.com/MicrosoftOfficeAccessibility.html

I've also written a book "Word 2007 from the Keyboard" which is available
from the same web site. Although keyboard focused it has tips and techniques
for people using screen readers. And now have a Blog for JAWS tips, Office
and keyboard command tips and accessible document design:
http://www.karlencommunications.com/Blog I just started it this summer.

If you have specific questions you can contact me off-list. I do use JAWS
and am now using Office 2010 but used Office 2007 for quite a few years.

Cheers, Karen

Subject: [WebAIM] JAWS and Office 2007 (or higher)

Hi all,

I'm searching the internet for the answer to the following question:
- How (or if) can I access the hotkeys in a ribbon of Office via JAWS.
I would like to get my JAWS (version 11) to read out all hotkeys in the
current ribbon.

Does anyone know, if this is possible?

Thanks a lot
Jessi
