Hello:
I have been asked to give several presentations of how a blind person uses the web. The presentations have both blind and sited participants so I have also been asked to share my screen. Here's where the fun starts. The people that want me to give the presentations use blackboard aluminate. But I think the problem is more systemic then that.
I am using a good hi end mike plugged in to a USB mixer I am also using the same mixer For the screen reader. I am using a second sound card on the same computer. And sending the signal from that sound card to the same mixer. Everything sounds grate the mike is working and the screen reader sounds good and as soon as I open the meeting room I get a horrible hi pitched squeak. That I can't get rid of.
The reason I don't think it is aluminate is that I get the same squeak in sound recorder.

I thought I would see if any of you have ideas how to fix this. I really need to get this worked out as we are going to try and record a event later today.
I am running windows 7 64. The mixer behaves just like a USB sound card and the mixer is only get the mike input form for the meeting the audio is coming out of the head phone of the cpu . thanks Lucy
