Re: In Page Link Behavior on Hidden Content

Hi Vincent,

I had recently visited the following page on Microsoft Enable website:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows7/Type-without-using-the-keyboard-
On-Screen-Keyboard#

On this page, there were several Show/Hide inpage links on clicking them
sections containing content related to the same is displayed. I am not sure
if they are using divs or not as haven't checked the code but as a screen
reader user I experienced focus not moving on the hidden content (that
becomes visible on clicking the link) in Internet Explorer whereas it works
fine with Firefox. I am using JAWS 12 with IE 9 & FF 7, if it may help.
I think it is the old focus issue with IE but it was very annoying as at
each time I had to move back from the top to the updated content section as
the focus moved to the top of the page on clicking the inpage links.

Hope this helps...

Subject: [WebAIM] In Page Link Behavior on Hidden Content

Was hoping for a quick answer so I don't have to test. If I have an
in-page link on a div that is hidden that is shown when the link is
clicked, will there be any issues for assistive technology?
