It is the screen reader's obligation to identify landmark types in the
appropriate language. For instance, role="navigation" should be
identified as "navegaciĆ³n" in screen readers set to read Spanish.

If the landmark type adequately identifies what it does, there's no
need for a label. Labels might be useful if you're using them in
distinct ways, or to differentiate multiple instances of the same type
of landmarks, such as main navigation and sub-navigation.
