Actually, I'm aware that the drop-down is difficult. We've actually been
re-working most of the site - if you try the sections off the home page
(http://www.nationwide.co.uk/default.asp), you'll find skipover links and a
drop-down that uses a go button. The site map has just not been done yet,
and still includes an old version of the header nav - but you can expect
that to be fixed relatively soon.
Be interested to see what you make of other pages we've re-worked, e.g:

http://www.nationwide.co.uk/credit-card/
etc etc
