A colleague of mine is testing some pages that contain forms. He has applied
the necessary <label> tags and id attributes to their associated fields.

Using Jaws v4.0 on Windows 2000, the form label is not announced. I am not
an expert on Jaws, and so could not see anything wrong with the
configuration - factory settings, incidentally.

I usually use Connect Outloud for testing, and this has NEVER had problems
reading my <label> attributes, and given that it is a cut-down version of
Jaws, I would expect that to work also.

Point to note: this is a full version of Jaws which, apparantly, did not
install as a full version. The authorisation disk failed to work, and
therefore Jaws was installed as a demo.

I would really appreciate people's help with this!

PS - What exactly is the problem with Jaws and borders. Whenever it's
installed, it causes borders on browser windows, inputs and other elements
to completely disappear. A real nasty side-effect, in my opinion.
