Hi Bevi,

just to put you on the right track here:

even if you do not see the JavaScript code when setting up certain validation and calculation aspects for form fields in Acrobat or other PDF form creation tools - JavaScript is used under the hood (and actually embedded in the PDF).

So once you make your forms even a tiny bit 'intelligent', you can't get it done without JavaScript.
