I don't know what need is, but if it is just to see the behavior of a text browser, there is the LYNX-emulator available through http://www.delorie.com/web/lynxview.html.

Subject: Text based web browser

Anyone know of a good text ONLY web browser? I would like to find one to
use to assist us in testing sites for accessibility. I was looking at Lynx
but couldn't find an "easy to install" version. They all require you to
download your own dos based packet drivers... etc. It didn't sound easy.

I have exactly $0 to spend on this - so it would have to be
freeware/shareware. And I'm using a Windows operating system.

Thanks in advance,
G
