I have heard the noise about column order and accessibility,
and thanks to the combined efforts of many in the css-d list, a
method of controlling just that is now available:
http://users.rraz.net/mc_on_the_rocks/testpage/ordered-floats.html
This is still bleeding edge stuff, but is being refined at a
tremendous clip even as I write.
My hope is that these methods may be useful to the
cause of accessibility.
