menuitemradio and menuitemcheckbox with iOS VoiceOver

Has anyone else notices that you can't focus on items in a menu with rolemenuitemradio or menuitemcheckbox? Is this a new "feature" of iOS8? We've
found this issue in iOS 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3.

menu items with role="menuitem" work just fine.
