In IE and FF you can turn on caret browsing with F7. In Chrome you need an
extension.
Caret browsing lets a user perform text selections, copy, etc. from the
keyboard. The user can also activate links by moving the caret into the
text of an anchor and hitting enter. The link gets a focus ring. Other than
selection (copy) and link activation nothing else seems to works.
Is the position of the caret available to users (for style sheets - use
like pseudo elements) or developers?
Does anyone know of resources about caret functionality?
