Thanks Paul and Terence for your responses - both were highly educational.

Another issue I've found while looking at readability as per checkpoint
6.1 is the problem of image transparency, where certain colours are
removed from an image, but displayed on a GUI browser using background
colours. Remove the CSS and the image becomes unreadable (generally
text images are the problem here).
