Hey John

Yeah that's what I am thinking too. Either way delighted to know that it is coming!

@Karen

Looks like you are in New Zealand - MS may have a different schedule for delivery for other countries (wild guess on my part).

IT is also possible that the AC only works with American English...

Anyone know?

Churchill or George Bernard Shaw: "...two nations divided by a common language"?

Hey John

Thanks for your help. I am on version 15.24 which is obviously the problem. I have done a check for updates and there are none available so maybe it is being rolled out?

I am using MS Word for Mac, Version 15.25 (160806)

The AC is listed under Review on the Ribbon in the Word window. But under the Mac toolbar (at the top of the screen), it is listed under Tools. So it is in both places.

Hi everyone

I have the latest version of Word for Mac and can't see the accessibility checker under review. Am I missing something?

Folks,

I really don't have the time to learn about this checker, but I do have a Mac book pro and the name caught my attention.

Can someone give me bullet points on what it does to see if it behooves me to have it? Thanks a bunch.

I have the insider's fast build and PowerPoint now has it, so it should go live to others soon I would guess. Finally!!!

Cheers

Confirming that Word and Excel for MSO for Mac 2016 updated (on Aug 6) and NOT PowerPoint (still using July update). So Accessibility Checker is still not available for PowerPoint in Mac.

Finally.

MS Office for Mac 2016 - August update includes the Accessibility Checker that was previously available in Windows versions.

This report says it is available in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, but my update today (dated Aug 6) only updated Word and Excel.

Find the AC under Review tab in the menu - sorry I don't see the keyboard equivalent.
