We've had the issue for 2 years now, with Acrobat DC this time and Word 2010 (version "14.")

This is a bug that we've had in hundreds of documents, all due at the same time, so this year and last, we had to manually insert them back in. They were nowhere to be found in the content panel.

I thought that issue was resolved in Word 2013.
