The OP suggested descriptive transcript which would be suitable without AD. Purely the spoken words would nit be enough. My favourite example is to use the shower scene from Psycho. 5 minutes of zero speech but hugely important action. A transcript would not be enough but AD and/or descriptive text could be if well written.
