Thank you all for your participation on the WebAIM discussion list.
This place has been called "the water cooler of web accessibility". I
love that description.

Here are a few reminders and tips:

- Remember that the focus of the list is *web* and document
accessibility. Discussions on screen reader support issues/bugs and
non-web software accessibility can draw focus away from our primary
topic. These are best addressed on vendor-specific help forums.

- Be sure to search the list archives -
http://webaim.org/discussion/archives - before posting. With over
33000 posts in almost 7800 threads from over 2000 subscribers dating
back to 1999, they are a wealth of information.

- Keep Subject lines descriptive and succinct, just as you would web
page titles. Maintain the Subject line of the message you are replying
to. List digest subscribers will need to modify the subject line to be
"Re: " and then the exact Subject of the message you are replying to.

- It's best if you trim post responses to only the relevant content
you are replying to (or delete the previous message content entirely),
rather than quoting the entire previous message(s). This makes the
list archives and daily digest message much easier to read.

- Please keep the length of message signatures to a minimum.

- Make sure your vacation auto-responders are NOT set to send to the list.

- Avoid attachments. The list allows them up to 100KB, but only send
them if necessary. Ensure any attachments are in an accessible and
readily supported format. Attachments will not appear in the list
archives.

Thanks for making the WebAIM list such a great place to discuss web
accessibility.
