There was an article posted within the last couple of days at
http://www.sitepoint.com <http://www.sitepoint.com>; with regard to website
optimization. Although most readers commented that the article was lacking
in depth, there are a number of good comments made and there are a number of
good links which may be of use.

One trick I was taught was to use a "navigation crumbs" style of <title>
such as: <title>Thorneloe University: Programs: Theatre Arts: Productions:
Much Ado About Nothing</title> so that Thorneloe University (substitute your
site or company name) is repeated with every title.

I have an education website aimed at preventing accidents/fatalities
happening at sea
http://www.aqua2002.fsnet.co.uk <http://www.aqua2002.fsnet.co.uk>;
with it being an education website I have a lot of WebPages - the problem I
have is the keywords
I have been told that search engine spiders will think I'm trying to spam
the internet with the amount of keywords I have on the different pages of my
website

All my keywords are in the main index page
is there a limit on the amount of keywords you can have on a webpage
when my website started up I was getting around 40 hits a day
now I'm lucky if I get 10

is this because of the keywords or the because of the sheer amount of
information I have on my site?
